Who is your favorite theologian?
Nothing beats just diving into God's Word and alloowing it to speak to you directly, but I have gotten quite a bit out of reading the thoughts and works of great theologians like C.S. Lewis, John Wesley, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther, etc. Who's your favorite?

I really like deitrich bonhoeffer, John Piper, C.S. Lewis, Mark driscol less of a theologian just as somone who has new prspectives as well as Frances Chan. |

C.S. Lewis and Charles Ryrie. As a former student of Moody Bible Inst. as well as Word of Life we read a lot from Charles Ryrie. |

Depending on topic I love to wrestle in thought with Lewis and Luther. They are both "Great" |

I would have to through my hat in for Bonhoeffer, George MacDonald, CS Lewis, and JESUS! |
|
John Wesley, followed by Randy Maddox who has the uncanny ability to make John Wesley understandable. |

However, more and more, I'm beginning to get more interested in the "everyday theologians." |

I'm pretty partial to Moltmann...some really good stuff there! As well as with the Liberation Theologians....(Gutierrez, Cone, etc.) |

The recently late Leonard Ravenhill. Great revival teacher and passion for souls! |
