Recommendation on reading materials (or other materials) on preparing to be a long term missionary in Uganda, Africa?

I went over to Uganda for three weeks and know its Gods plan to go back and serve long term. I am just finishing up my degree in family life education and will utilize that when I am over there working in the orphanages. Plan on being back there in 1-2 years. And want to be as prepared as I can knowing that the best way is to experience it when I am there.
