I did Myers Brigss in college and seminary and honestly can't remember the results. I know I'm introverted and very loyal and can be outgoing when duty calls. I think whether you do a M-B test or not, the important thing in ministry is knowing your personality and knowing your strengths and weaknesses. I don't think there is a perfect INTP profile for ministry. In Scripture you have Paul, Peter, John Mark, Barnabas, Timothy, and others who all had different personality traits and ministry styles. God used each of them differently. I'm not saying it's bad to know your M-B score, but I would pay more attention to your spiritual gifts.

I've never done the Myers-Briggs test, but I'm guessing I'm similar to you. I'm a lot more interested in big picture and having a strong strategy and advance planning. I'm not the 'hype' leader who can instantly bring huge amounts of energy to a youth event, I'm much more at home when I'm leading a discussion/teaching/counseling a teenager.

Basically it leads me to the old adage "Work to your strengths, recruit to your weaknesses." I try hard to recruit people who can bring the hype and energy, because even though I can be the hype/energy guy, it's not who I am, and someone who has that ability naturally can go way further than I ever could.

One more benefit of having a team approach to youth ministry.
