Has anyone ever met Jesus through a bull horn guy?
I was at a hockey game the other night and on the way on there was a guy yelling the bible at people and telling them to repent... He also had a list on board of sins.... Sooo this is my question.
When (if ever) was the last Time you heard a testimony of some who met Jesus through the guy holding the " your going to hell" sign and yelling through his bullhorn?

Don't know someone myself, but God can use anyone who loves him and shares HIS truth in LOVE. Now I wasn't at the game, so not sure if he was sharing in love or not, but you know sometimes the truth hurts! |

I'll give them credit for not being bashful about their faith and about trying to reach others, however, I'm not going to be one of them. |

While this is totally opposite to my low-pressure relational approach to ministry, I can't help but echo what Todd said that there's a huge amount of similarity between this guy and John the Baptist. However, maybe in JTB's day he was less of a social anomoly than your bullhorn guy, but who knows? I didn't live in biblical times. Something about wearing dead animal pelts and eating bugs screams out "WEIRDO"! I guess the question is, is he calling others to repent or calling others to be like him? If people think repentance means acting like him, they're probably turned off. Good answer, Todd. |

We have one here in our city. Smokey is his name. Stands on that corner with his cross and bull horn just going at it. Now, admittedly, this may not be the most effective way to lead people to Jesus, the same could be said about John the Baptist standing in camel hair and yelling "REPENT!". |

I'm sure someone has. I mean, if God can talk through a jackass (Numbers 22) then he can speak through a bullhorn guy. I've personally never heard of one tho |
