Good summer camps for 7th-12th grade?
We have a smaller youth group (15-20) active jr. and sr. high students. We have attended summer camps in the past, but wanted to find a quality, somewhat inexpensive camp for 7th-12th graders? Any suggestions?

There is a great camp that we have gone to for the last couple of years. Its in Missouri and was started by a goup of youth pastors that wanted to offer a camp was different from the norm. It's $190 per student and that includes resturant quality buffet style food. The dorms are nice and are air conditioned with their own bathroom and shower for each. The speaker is always top notch and the camp is a blast. We always to to a big water park one day as well which is inlcuded in the price. Its worth checking into. you can check out some past camps on www.thelinkcamp.com the rooms each have their own bathroom and shower not one for the whole dorm. Also, there is a ton of fun things they do durning the day and night. |

Google Fuge Camps. I'm looking at doing a summer mission trip that through organization, but it looks like they have summer camps too. They're mostly in the southeast part of the U.S., so I suppose it would all depend on where you're from. If that is too far away or sounds too expensive, try googling camps in your area and ask for lots of details, brochures, etc... plus see if you can visit and check it out for yourself. You also might want to try talking to other area youth pastors to see if they had suggestions for camps in your area. |
