our students rrun almost everything! they have guidance from a ministry coach but they run it! It fact they are often better at it than the adults because it thier culture. Now you have to have an established level of expectation or your may end up with finger paint on a posterbaord and promo work but just think most schools have student counsels and their students formm all the dances and football rallies, why can't your students do the same thing?

The link BtheYouthGuy posted below is one of the ways I do it. I also like to get kids in our weekly youth group news videos then tag them all in Facebook. It's a great way to virally spread your youth group's news online as it shows up in the Facebook news feed of all their friends.

Often my Jr & Sr's help out in the main service running ProPresenter for song lyrics. In that case they are supervised by the other adults in the tech area.

If I have my macbook in the youth room, I have it on a guest account with full tracking, even if I am the one using it.

In our line of work, there is often too many sensitive items that could damage a student or your own credibility if it were leaked. I'm not saying to be secretive, but be mindful of who information is released to.

If an elder or my lead pastor requests it, they get full access to my computer at any time.

I don't let my youth update our website, but Tim Schmoyer has some cool things about using twitter at the link below
