Christian Priorities in Life
My priorities in life puts God at the top. In this, includes having daily quiet time, prayer, and devotional. Second to God is my spouse, then my children. My husband on the other hand encompasses Church activities and ministry into God. He works full time and spends 3 days out of the 5 week nights at Church and Sat afternoon and full day on Sunday. Whatever time he has left is to plan for Church (he is a worship leader). Where is our marriage? Where is the balance? Please help as it is causing a lot of stress in our marriage.

Have you tried sitting down with your husband and having an honest conversation about it? As you do this, keep in mind that your husband is likely finding a great deal of fulfillment and joy from serving in the church. Tell him your concerns, yet be careful that it does not become a venting session. After you've spoken with him, it would likely be a great idea for both of you to sit down and talk with one of the pastors at the church. |
